The Directors

The Board, collectively, has significant experience in establishing and growing businesses along with significant experience of managing public companies and risks associated with such ventures both operationally and financially.

Details of the Directors are listed below.

John Zorbas: Chief Executive Officer

John Zorbas, aged 52 has over 15 years of experience in global equity markets in an executive role. John is currently CEO of AIM listed URU Metals Ltd (AIM: URU), a position he has held since 2014. URU Metals is an exploration and development company which identifies and invests in quality mineral projects worldwide, and owns 74.4% of TSX-V listed ZEB Nickel Corp, where John is also a Non Executive Director.

John is also currently CEO of Captor Capital (CSE: CPTR; USOTC: NWURF), a vertically integrated cannabis company that provides recreational and medical marijuana-based products to consumers via its leading brands and dispensary locations. With a focus on acquiring cash flowing established companies with growth potential that require capital to scale and has a number of revenue generating cannabis investments including two wholly owned branded MedMen dispensaries – the world famous West Hollywood location and the showpiece Orange County dispensary in Santa Ana.

Since 2021 John has been working in the ESG space, both as a Non Executive Director at Zeb Nickel Corp and PowerTap Hydrogen Capital Corp.

Damion Greef: Non Executive Chairman

Damion Greef is an experienced publicly listed company Board Director having served on the Boards of several listed technology companies over the last 20 years as both an Executive and Non-Executive Director, being familiar with public company governance and reporting obligations. He actively seeks out young, talented people with world class ideas, giving them financial support and guidance in commercialising their ideas or products. This guidance includes helping develop strategic direction and focusing the management teams as they grow in professional maturity. Enforcing financial rigour and accountability at all levels of the businesses he works with, delivering messaging to their staff, suppliers and customers which align with the company’s strategic goals.

Damion previously worked for two City financial PR firms at Binns and Co and Holborn PR, and was involved in the 2000 listing of online marketing and advertising agency Eyeconomy Holdings plc on the Ofex junior market. He has advised on multiple new listings, reverse takeover and hostile bidding situations, including the acquisition of ASDA by Walmart.

In 2003 he joined the board of Gaming Corporation as the Communications Director and latterly as a Non-Executive Director. Gaming Corporation bought the major asset of Gambling.com for $20m, and Damion was a key member of the commercial and fundraising team to fund the acquisition. Nasstar Ltd was divested from the company to Damion and Charles Black, and subsequently the comapny was floated on the AIM market in 2005.

Since 2014 to the present date, he is the chairman and latterly CEO of Fedr8 Group Ltd, an artificial intelligence software developer, and subsequently became CEO of The FedR8tion Ltd which is an esports and gaming portal incorporated in the UK but operating from Pittsburgh in the US

Damion is also currently chairman of WINIT365Group PLC, a gaming software developer, specialising in Mahjong. He has held the role since 2018.

Segar Karupiah: Chief Financial Officer

Segar Karupiah has over 35 years of experience in financial and accountancy roles, and latterly senior PLC executive roles.

After joining the Institute of Chartered Accountants in 1986, Segar held accountancy roles at Automotive & Financial Group Plc and Caledonia Motor Group Plc during the 1990’s.

In the early noughties, Segar held operational roles at Lookers Southern Plc, and took up directorship roles at Mobile Gaming Solutions Plc and Danmar Management Ltd, where he remains to this day.

Avi Robinson: Non Executive Director

Avi Robinson is an experienced corporate and commercial director. He qualified as a chartered accountant with RSM in 2007, gaining significant transaction services experience before moving into corporate finance advisory at Dowgate Capital. He was a Partner and AIM qualified executive at Cairn Financial Advisers between 2010 and 2016, where he managed a portfolio of AIM listed companies and led several capital markets transactions across multiple sectors.

In 2016, he co-founded a technology start-up in travel retail before joining Servy, an enterprise self-service platform for travel and hospitality, as Regional Managing Director overseeing operations and leading business development across EMEA and APAC. He currently operates as a Consultant to Servy and as a Non-Executive Director of URU Metals Limited.
